I had been getting notices for awhile for the Julep Maven box. I finally decided to bite, though I’m not a nail polish fanatic.
Julep has their own product line and though it includes skincare and other items, the main focus is the polish. After receiving my first box, I later found out that Julep will often put out special edition “mystery” boxes. (Find mystery box and other Julep reviews here.)
Now on to this month’s box:
THE DETAILS: The Julep Maven box costs $24.99 per month and you typically get two polishes and a beauty product of some sort, based on some preferences you fill out when you join. You also get a short window each month to make some selections for the next month’s box and you can purchase add-ons as well, which typically come at a deeper discount when added to the box. This box ships throughout the U.S. and Canada and shipping is included in the price. It is non-refundable but Julep just changed the policy so that you can “skip” a month whenever you want.
Here’s the first look. I was a bit tired of polish so I opted to hand select various other products instead, including one of their new brow items.
As usual, this box came with a sweet treat. Gobstoppers; retail value is about $0.06.
The Julep Get in Line Invisible Lip Liner doesn’t get great reviews on line but I’m eager to try it anyhow. It retails for $16.
Next up is this CTRL+Z Eye Makeup Eraser. I’m terrible with eye liner so I’m hoping this will help. Retail price for this is $10.
The final item in my box is Julep’s new Don’t Leave Your Brows at Home in Cool Brown. I’ve tried quite a few different brow enhancers of late and haven’t quite been satisfied, so curious to see how this goes. This retails for $19.20.
There are three new products (to me at least) in this box that I am eager to try. I’ll be sure to update this post once I have. I paid $24.99 for it and received $45.26 worth of product.
What do you all think? Have any of you tried any of these items?
