Subscription Box Insanity: Little Lace Box (Apr. ’15)

Little Lace Box

Little Lace Box

I’m very excited about a subscription called Little Lace Box. Their motto is a box that is “for women who know they’re worth it”. A very tall order!

I missed out on LLB’s September box, which included some beautiful home items that I totally lusted after. I couldn’t purchase the box after the fact but was able to sign up for future boxes. (See my reviews from past boxes here.)

Subscription Box Insanity: Hamptons Lane (Apr. ’15)

Hamptons Lane

Hamptons Lane

My husband and I, well more so he than I, are closet foodies. He loves to watch the cooking channel and sometimes pulls together some interesting, if not tasty, concoctions. It’s one of the reasons he’s so dear to me.

In any case, I actually got a subscription from Hamptons Lane as a bit of a surprise for him. I wasn’t sure how it would be though, so I plan to poke through things first and maybe reveal things here and there as a nice surprise for him.

This box promises to provide “the food lover with the tools they need to enhance their culinary experience as chef, entertainer, and eater”. We certainly look forward to testing that out!

Meet Wednesday...& Bark Box!

Meet Wednesday…& BarkBox!

In case you were wondering if I was the only one partaking in the subscription box fun, the answer is a resounding no! Meet a beloved member of our little family, my fur-baby Wednesday!

There are a lot of great stories to tell you about Wednesday, and since I have you here as a captive audience, you will likely hear more than your fair share. Suffice it to say that she is a persnickety thing who is also possibly very spoiled. Here is the latest example, courtesy of dog-focused subscription service BarkBox!

Subscription Box Insanity: Julep Maven (Feb. ’15)

Julep Maven box

Julep Maven box

I had been getting notices for awhile for the Julep Maven box. I finally decided to bite, though I’m not a nail polish fanatic.

Julep has their own product line and though it includes skincare and other items, the main focus is the polish. After receiving my first box, I later found out that Julep will often put out special edition “mystery” boxes.  (Find mystery box and other Julep reviews here.)

Now on to this month’s box:

Subscription Box Insanity: Healthy Start Petbox (Jan ’15)

W in her Winter Gear

W in her Winter Gear

So far I’ve reviewed two special, limited edition Petboxes that I  ordered on their own. One to support the movement against domestic violence and abuse and the other was a holiday box. (They are kind of my favorite thing from Petbox!)

Petbox also put out a limited edition,  Healthy Start box for the new year that I paid $29.95 for. It came with lots of goodies to get W started off on the right paw!
